Character Focus

Who are they?

Ami - Main character. Meri, Kidlat, Nanay, Bondoc, Mr Zomora, Sister Teresa, Sister Margaritte.

Who did you like best and why?

I liked Ami best because she was determined to go back to her Nanay, and she survived the snake bite.

Plot

What happens?

The children are taken away from their parents, who are ill. Ami, Mari and Kidlat made it back to their home. Ami unfortunately got bitten by a snake. So Mr Zomora, their carer, took Mari and Kidlat to a different location, because Ami was too unstable from the snake bite. But she still got to see her Nanay.

Your Opinion

What was your favourite part and why?

My favourite part was when Ami started comforting Kidlat; also when Ami met Mari and started to talk.

If you had to recommend this book to a friend, what would you say?

That it's really interesting and fun to read.
