Junior Children's Writer and Editor

Award-winning publisher BookLife Publishing are looking for a junior writer and editor to join the Editorial team in this highly successful and rapidly growing publishing house. The role is a full-time or part-time, permanent position based in our offices in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, working with our Editorial and Design teams on our ever-growing catalogue of outstanding non-fiction and fiction titles. As a junior writer and editor, you would be responsible for working on and developing new series, writing your own titles, and editing our books.

We are looking for an outstanding graduate (degrees in English literature/language or similar are preferred but not essential) who is capable of writing highly original and creative content, has strong editorial skills and displays a willingness to learn within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2:1 degree in a relevant subject (English literature/language or writing preferred but not essential)

  • Outstanding grasp of grammar and an eye for detail

  • Creative flair and the ability to write engaging content

  • A flexible and positive attitude

  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines

  •  The ability to work well in a creative, team environment

Experience:

  • Education: Degree in English Language/Literature preferred

Client Relations Assistant

We are searching for a friendly, fun and vibrant individual to join our lively client relations team. The successful applicant will be contacting schools via telephone and email to build our customer base further. Job Details

  • Hours: 20 - 30 Per Week, Norfolk term-time only (may be suitable for parents with children in education)

Experience:
